In this Danville neighborhood where deer roam freely, the homeowners wanted to replace their sloped lawn with something both functional and beautiful. We built a tiered block wall that became the perfect foundation for a California native garden. Western redbuds, coffeeberry, manzanita, and achillea bring form and seasonal interest while standing up to deer pressure. Along the house, blooming penstemon adds extra color. And in true East Bay fashion, citrus trees line the front yard — ready to share with the neighbors.
Let’s design a landscape that gives back — to you and your community.
