After two decades of accumulation, these Danville homeowners were ready for a clean slate — and a fresh, low-maintenance design. We preserved and refinished the back deck, but the rest was transformed. In the front yard, we replaced lawn with a dry creek and native garden zones. The backyard now features decorative gravel, a sparse mix of California natives, and a new pergola to define a cozy second seating area.
