For this Pleasanton landscape design, the homeowner gave us a brief that included creating privacy for her corner lot across from a busy, brightly lit park. We added a hogwire fence to create front-yard privacy, a low berm across the corner that still allowed for visibility for traffic, and planted desert museum palo verde and redbuds for a lacy privacy screen. We utilized prefab planter boxes for another element of privacy. A quiet conversation patio is tucked in near the front door.
