This San Ramon Landscape Design and Installation project had two quandaries: torrential waterflow during atmospheric rivers and an unusual pie-shaped backyard. First solution: we created a large-cobble dry creek drainage system under the line of redwoods at the perimeter of the property. Working with existing tiers at the back of the property, we fashioned a space for a large patio at the house with a shade pergola, a lawn area, a fruit-tree garden, and spacious CA native gardens with flagstone steppers.
